[GREEN] obsession
Use the color [GREEN] to create a gentle, relaxed feel for your home

[GREEN] is a ‘feel-good’ color. Much like the color blue, [GREEN] is perceived as calming, reassuring and easy on the eyes.

However, using the color green in interior design can sometimes seem like a bit of a challenge.

It’s a color that can really go wrong on walls + fabrics.

.
It either needs to be used in conjunction with other colors…

Try using several different shades of [green] to achieve that dynamic monochromatic look..

In music, you want harmony + with decorating, it’s the same.
.
Think of it like this…if everything is one hue, it looks blah.
.
But temper strong greens with mild ones, you’ve got a polised look..
For example: Lime looks beautiful with forest or olive.
.

On a ‘primitive’ psychological level, the color green tells us that we are safe: In a fertile, water-rich environment, above freezing temperatures, there is enough to eat and we will survive.
Therefore, we can relax.
Design is creativity with strategy.
