Use the color [PURPLE] to create a rich, luxurious feel for your home
.
.
In Western cultures, [PURPLE] is widely seen as a symbol of royalty, wealth and power; stemming from the classical antiquity when Tyrian Purple was only affordable to the elites. Until the 1970′s, the color [PURPLE] was long avoided in interior design because it was perceived as a difficult color to match; however, in todays world we consider [PURPLE] to be a soothing hue and it has become on of the trendiest colors in interior design.
[PURPLE] is often used, by designers, to dress up a room and create luxurous and modern atmospheres. The mysticisim of this color also gives us a sense of depth and is used to expand & make spaces feel larger.

.
While the color [PURPLE] can easily replicate the simplicity of black–it is also a color chosen for work spaces and bedroom areas because it offers both a sense of relaxation and improves creativity.
